There’s something very special about walking into the shop on a Saturday morning with a box of steel tubes, and leaving at the end of the day well into the manufacture of an actual bicycle that someone is going to treasure for years to come.  The following pictures document a Cyclo-Cross frame that was raced at the National Championships in December of 2006 at Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island.  This pictorial is broken into Six Stages  because of the copious number of pictures housed here.  Eric de Rivera was the fortunate recipient of this frame and raced hard to an amazing 20th place finish.  Please take your time to peruse the sections.  No doubt, you will soon start to fantasize about your dream frame one day being assembled on the same jig.  Thank you.  Enjoy.

I got my best places so far this season this weekend;
An 8th place in the 45+ Masters race in Cheshire, and a 4th today in the 35/45+ B Masters in Wrentham.
I guess the bike goes pretty good.
